clouds once again spoiled the sunrise

not a sunrise this morning with all the low clouds around.. needless to say I skipped going to the beach and settles in at the local Sunset Beach Veteran's Park along the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) that separates the mainland from the island

another 'kewl' early morning at 67* with a nice breeze along the beach.. a beautiful sunny morning..  only got up to 86* this afternoon.. a pleasant day

some causeway

passed on stopping at the beach this early morning with so many low clouds and a lightning show and storms just offshore.. instead played by the causeway and marsh..topped out at 86* this afternoon.. sunny all day..

a 'kewl' early morning at the beach

78° on the beach right now.. clear skies before sunrise..10+ mph wind out of the southwest.. ocean water temps still holding at 81°.. nice

nice and quiet

over to the East End of the island at 545am in the twilight overlooking Tubbs Inlet looking across at Ocean Isle Beach island.. and no peeps in sight.. this is good... west end was full already... crazy.. a nice quiet delightful early morning--just like I like it  :)
