another nice early morning.. and a day-trip down to Charleston

my usual drive over to the beach before sunrise..kewler temps at 55*..water looked dirty as it rolled over at the surf line so I didn't even try wetting a line today..quiet as it has been along the beachfront with just a few dog-walkers once again.. tourons are still in 'work mode' so none around--which is good.. we decided the last minute to drive down to Charleston, SC just for the day.. about 2 1/2 hours straight down Rt 17 and a lil' over 100  miles from us.. a beautiful sunny blue sky day down there also.. had a great time as we usually do when visiting Charleston.. a great place to snap a bunch of pics

in the surf 'wetting a line'..

the ocean water might be warming up but at 67* it sure didn't feel like it this morning at Sunrise as I 'wet a line' in the surf..the only thing biting were the 'no-see-ums'... over to the lake same result..at least the local Gator put on a show until he didn't like the guy stopping nearby to cut the green all under the watchful eye of Mister Osprey looking down from his usual perch.. got up to 77* and sunny once again.. a pretty day
