gone pluggin' in the surf

with the usual results.. nada... where are the fish.. arrrrggghhhhh...water cleared up a smidge from the uglee muddy churned up water from the other day... nice SSE breeze at the beach at sunrise..no bugs  and the humidity eased up a bit too..

a sunrise... a storm approaching

skipped the long walk over the dunes at 40th street with a nearby storm approaching.. stopped over near the pier in the surf.. heavy humidity.. but a nice breeze on the beach.. as I pulled into the driveway the rains came down pretty hard for a short while..did me a favor and got the sand off the truck

not too much doing  at 40th street at Sunrise on Sunset Beach.. as I left the beach saw Jim's new truck in the Pier parking lot.. decided to take a walk up there and see what everyone is catching... water was uglee muddy dirty ..only 2 other Pier-pounders up there...saw a monster whiting brought up by Jim... Tom stopped by and wet a line.. I just took some pics

after all these years I'm still on the board.. it fed a lot of friends that day

the heat is back

and the humidity... but the beach is really quiet at sunrise..nice...got up to 90* today..

summer is over.. Labor Day

 hopefully it's over for the tourons at least.. and the beach should be back to being quiet after this long Labor Day holiday weekend.. the low tide was as low as it should get a half hour before sunrise
