nice morning..

Sunrise at the beach once again..  first stopped at the Lake to wet a line since Sunrise was not until 0730am .. only caught one Largemouth Bass.. small one.. then off to the beach... caught the Sunrise...  another perfect day.. sunny and 71º all  day..  supposed to rain  tomorrow

a lil' bit of fog at Sunrise

 headed over to the beach and decided to go down to the end at 40th street where I normally surf fish in season... a few of the 'locals' walked across Main street in front of my truck so they became photo-ops..  fog hanging low across the dunes walkway on this nice sunny day.. temps at Sunrise 45º...  stopped off as per my usual at the lake on the drive home and wet a line.. caught a nice 4#--7 oz Largemouth.. a couple of more hits but no other takers..  temps got up to 73º and sunny.. got some 'rays'  :)

and it was sure a pretty 52º 'late-Sunrise' sunny morning on this the first day of Daylight Savings Time..  stopped at the lake on the drive back home... caught a Largemouth Bass.. lost another at the bank with a few more hits.. all in all a nice start for hopefully an early spring...

ahhh.. the Sun shines once again..

SUN...after 3 miserable cold windy days of rain rain and more rain.. what a winter season...  
headed over to the beach at Sunrise as per my usual on a nice morning... just a few walkers but not anywhere near where I was.. hopefully this clear sunny warmer nice weather will continue as they have forecast for this week with temps in the high 60's

Spring is getting closer ...tomorrow morning --Sunday-- at 2am we put the clocks AHEAD 1 hour for the start of Daylight Savings Time  Daylight Savings Time

back to brrrrrr.....

a trip over to the beach in 25º temps and 20mph North winds was not very pleasant...brrrr is the only way to describe it... not a person around on the beach or in the parking lot except moi.. temps got to a high of only 37º this afternoon.. waiting for the rain for the next 3 days.. just friggin' lovely

at least the temps were at 54º .. a lot better than the northeast is getting today with a snow storm just missing NYC to the south..still going to get  11º temps tonite...our friends in south Jersey and south of there all the way down to Richmond are getting snow and ice once again.. what a winter

a calm morning

headed back over to the beach once again... low clouds delayed the sunrise a bit until it passed above them..  obvious beach erosion that has occurred in the past 2 days... it will make the fishermen happy on da' Pier with deeper water..

an dreary kinda morning

cold dreary overcast 37º and I didn't even go over to the island and the beach... saw these guys chowing down on some road kill near the Lake.. Turkey Vultures(Turkey Buzzards) and Black Vultures.. a Great Egret even looked like he was cold at the Lake.. stayed overcast all day today.. 59º this afternoon but you'd never know it with the sun not out..uglee
