weather it is.. 'mini' ice storm early.. and more

for us wimpee doods in the southeast.. 29*F .. at 6am... so far just a light dusting of mainly ice.. the roofs are white with ice ..supposed to turn over to SNOW by this afternoon- they keep on changing the snow forecast- and snow  thru tomorrow early morning.. just don't want the ice storm and the high 30+ mph winds.. we shall see.. 'you don't have to shovel HEAT'

WEATHER UPDATE ..up to a 'heat scorching' 32*F at Noon.. the SUN is OUT.. go figure.. some crazy whacked weather we're having..

or so it seems.. 30*F with a 10mph North wind as I arrived on to the beach nearby the Pier at the Gazebo-- why there??.. it's the shortest walkway across the dunes .. most of the other dunes walkways from the street to the beach are slippery from a thin coating of ice this time of year and a lot longer walk.. some other photogs out there snapping pics of the colorful sky before sunrise but for the most part not many other peeps around..up to 45*F by late morning which will be the high temp for the day.. sunny.. that'll change dramatically into late tonite thru tomorrow and into Sunday as the massive storm keeps building with forecasts up to 5-8 inches of snow and  winds up to 40mph.. like I said 'the calm before the storm'..

a nice Sunrise-- weather forecast-- not lookin' good

arrived on the beach before sunrise.. 33*.. 3 cars plus my truck in the parking lot.. less than Tuesday.. only saw 3 peeps nearby on the beach.. wind was blowing out of the North at 10-15mph.. got 'kewler' fast.. only up to 41*F by the afternoon and sunny....  weather forecasts are showing SNOW starting on Saturday afternoon thru all day Sunday along the east coast from Savannah to Virginia.. our area shows anywhere from 1" to 8"-- I kid you not.. depends what weather app you check
