sailing toward our next port- Charlottetown, PEI -Prince Edward Island- as I found myself up on the Lido Deck-aft this early morning before the 524am sunrise.. . 51* but the winds were up there at 20kts.. only one other passenger out there .. I turned around and she was gone- not a true 'sunrise believer'.. forecast for temps to go to the mid 70's by the afternoon.. we shall see
out and off the ship by 930am ..a walk on the wild side--not.. this is quiet and beautiful Charlottetown, PEI home of all those mussels.. we did our regular walkabout thru town via Prince Street then on over to Charlotte Street.. a stop or two here and there.. passed by some familiar places we've gone to over the years that we've been sailing here..
on the way back it was 12 noon lunch time so a stop for lunch at our favorite lobster restaurant - the Water Prince at the corner of Prince and Water streets just up the street from the ship .. after a nice lunch- Steamed Clams for Pat and a Lobster Roll and beer for moi it was off to the marina and some needed ice cream at Cows on the waterfront- a double cone with Wowie Cowie and Gooey Mooey..
