an early 454am Sunrise onboard the Zaandam as we make our approach to our Bar Harbor anchorage in the bay in the shadows of Cadillac Mountain.. 53* and a beautiful early morning with a colorful sky as I snapped some pics from the Sports Deck midship..
a nice breakfast in the Pinnacle.. it was off the ship by 850am and on to a tender for a nice ride to the downtown docks in Bar Harbor.. turned into a beautiful sunny 72* morning.. ocean water temps at a scorching 57*.. yikes.. first stop was at the Pink Pastry Shop for a Whoopie Pie.. gotta have one ..we stop for our Whoppie Pies every time we are here.. I went for the chocolate chip..Pat got a red velvet.. . with this being Memorial Day Holiday weekend it sure did get crowded fast.. way too crowded to even stop at our favorite lobster lunch place--Geddy's.. we'll be back here next week for another try at it.. just a nice day overall.. back on the ship by 1130am.. lunch in the Lido outside near the Seaview Pool
