sunrise on the beach-- after days of clouds

after 2 more days of early clouds and rain.. it sure was good to arrive on the beach before sunrise on a nice cloud-free early morning... a bit on the 'kewl' side but that was okay.. all the rain we got over the weekend was nothing in comparison to what Charleston got--- 4+ inches on Saturday flooding the downtown historic district and the surrounding areas as the rivers nearby overflowed .. the flooding extended outside of the city with many closed roadways.. what a mess they had.. our usual day-trip down that way was planned but has been postponed for a week or so.. Charleston is a 2.5 hour drive down the coast on Rt 17.. about 125 miles south of us
