Day 12 Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain

having been here before 2x we decided to do the Hop On Hop Off bus...  as it turned out a good choice..  a beautiful day 85* and sunny as we sat atop the top deck of the open air bus to tour the city..

Day 11 Day at Sea

a cloudy early morning made for a non-sunrise... 'kewler' air temps at 73* greeted me on the Sports Deck before 7am..  tried to sit outside by the Seaview Pool but the sun never showed its face ..decided to walk the Lower Prom deck with Pat and Fran..  after 4 laps( 1 mile) had to stop as a torrential downpour chased us off the deck...  waited it out and after a half hour or so the Sun came out with clear blue skies for the rest of the day.. so it was out back by the pool aft Navigation Deck for me..this will be our last Day at Sea as we arrive in Tenerife-Canary Islands-Spain late tomorrow morning just before noon

Day 10 Day at Sea-- TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE

as we head closer to our next port Tenerife another pretty day with a surprise TOTAL Solar Eclipse on the menu this morning...  the ship advised us of the celestial happening just yesterday evening... peak was at 1034am with the Moon passing in front of the Sun...  the air temps were a bit lower at 75* with  sunny skies all day..  a singer in the showroom with Broadway show tunes as she was the lead singer in the show Cats on Broadway when it first opened...  we all met in the Lido at 1030pm for coffee and goodies

Day 9 Day at Sea

the seas got a bit 'ruffer 'but still at 7-8' with the winds picking up into the 30 nt range out of the NNE..  still a super day for lounging out back at the Seaview pool with air temps at 79* on another pretty sunny day.. had a small rain squall pass us by that the ship didn't doge  that produced yet another Rainbow...  the clocks went ahead once again at 2pm this afternoon.. the ship's way of easing the time changes rather than lose sleep at nite time..  we all had dinner at the Pinnacle Restaurant... sooper-dooper... a super fine meal..I opted for the 10 oz filet.. along with Lobster Bisque and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail followed by Vanilla Soufle and a piece of anniversary cake .. both Tom and Denise and us celebrated our recent 41 year anniversaries so the staff brought out the cakes..  a fine day at sea 

the ship's satellite internet has been nearly non-existant or if w*rking super-extremely slooooow

Day 8 Day at Sea

a carbon-copy of yesterday.. beautiful clear skies..79*..... another day of sitting out by the Seaview Pool..can't get any better than this..  went to the Show in the main showroom.. a high energy act with an impressionist/singer...  pretty darn good show... tomorrow dinner will be at the Pinnacle Restaurant with eight of us going
