today I was on the EAST end of the
island-- at the last access walkway-- since the west end has so much
sidewalk construction going on and many access walkways are closed
down.. and NO one was around.. as in zero.. zilch.. squat.. squa-durch..
desolate.. guess 'peeps' just don't like to get up early for the quiet
peaceful sunrise everyday.. don't know what they are missing...
traveling near and far.. enjoying ourselves in as many places as much as we can

sight.. well "red sky in the morning...." no rain today but overcast
cloudy skies prevailed .. up to 61*... :)

finally a Sunrise-- and a day-trip down to Charleston
well.. finally .. after 6 or is it 7 days of early morning clouds.. fog
and rain the sunrise is back once again.. wow... a welcomed sight..a
beautiful morning no wind.. 50* with forecast up to 70* this afternoon
we decided after getting home from the beach this early morning it was such a nice day that a 'day trip' was in order for the drive down to Charleston, SC.. about 2.5 hours straight down Rt 17 from our house and we were there.. 71* as we arrived there late morning.. nice and sunny with no wind as we walked Charleston's Historic District ----Rainbow Row.. the Battery and Battery Park down thru Meeting Street and back up Water Street.. always great for taking pics of the old historic homes.. a nice 2 hour walk on a truly pleasant day.. much appreciated after so many uglee days of clouds fog and rain over the past week...
