oh what a beautiful morning

left the house at 625am in fog.. as I got closer to the Island most of the fog started to lift..with some low clouds along the horizon decided to stop at  the Sunset Beach Veteran's Park on the ICW on the mainland side of the bridge.. 54* with no wind.. walked thru the park.. saw my lil' buddy 'Wally' then his buddy the Otter swimming along in the ICW ..Wally was happy after I gave him some 'charlie bear treats'..   a nice morning.. stopped to 'wet a line' at the Lake-- just one light hit no hookups.. the gators woke up and were out so I guess they figure it should be a sunny warm day with more on the way..

this morning's Total Lunar Eclipse-- nada.. as the CLOUDS won out .. total cloud cover.. went over to the Island at 545am to check it out .. many peeps out there as the Gazebo parking lot was overflowing with cars.. so I of course stayed away from there.. picked a good location along the end of the causeway.. even had my drone at the ready .. stayed until Moon-Set at 642am.. looks like we all missed another one.. it turned into a beautiful sunny day by noon time.. 68*F.. nice.. but still disappointing not being able to see the Total Lunar Eclipse
