Imelda will become a Hurricane but is now forecast to turn away and head east of us as it makes its way NNE up the East Coast of Florida.. it will however drop a lot of rain along the coast with us included in the next 2 to 3 days..
UPDATE 5PM rain.. wet.. water.... with more on the way thru tomorrow.. an uglee day..
I passed on going out to the beach this early morning .. raining most of the overnite and continues this morning.. just an uglee day.. some sceengrabs off the PierCam at 7am.. die-hard 'pier-rats' out on the Pier fishing-- I remember it well having fished the pier for 18 years .. the Tropical Storm/Hurricane forming and heading toward our area for next week.. latest forecast track shows it turning to the right and East before making landfall near us-- hopefully
arrived on the beach before sunrise.. fairly quiet with some peeps--the 'regulars'.. low clouds along the horizon --waited patiently for the sun to clear them.. a nice morning at 73* .. up to 85* by the afternoon as the heat continued.. a tropical storm formation will be headed our way in the next few days with lots of rain in the forecast.. might not see the sunrise for a while..

mostly on the mainland as I drove over to the East End at Tubbs Inlet.. more peeps than I would think were out and about -- just comes down to the 'late sunrise' after 7am these days.. 72*.. nice.. slight breeze.. Ocean Water Temps kicked back up to 77*.. with temps in the afternoon into the high 70's..great weather day .. but with storms on the way for early next week as Humberto and closer to us Imelda move up the east coast--ugh
