Day 4 - St Maarten

as I got up to Deck 10 this early morning hoping and looking for a Sunrise.. a couple of rain squalls passed on thru as our ship made its approach to St Maarten... the local Pilot embarked a mile out of the bay.. we were docked by 730am without a sunrise  ..

off to an 8am breakfast in the Pinnacle as per our usual.. we  decided to get off the ship by 9am and took a water taxi into downtown Philipsburg.. we were back onboard by 1230pm.. I might note in all tge times we have been to this port this is the first time ever that we have been the only cruise ship in port.. very strange although we have noticed it is not the way it used to be here..

Day 3 - at Sea

up early on to Deck 10 as the clouds moved in with some rain drops at the sunrise hour.. off and on rain squalls thruout the morning with the sun popping out later in the day as we continue to sail SSE on this 2nd day at sea heading toward tomorrow morning's arrival in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten.. invited to a private coffee chat with HGM Ruben in his office with Captain Mark joining us ..we talked about some nice memories from the Maasdam
