headed for the beach before sunrise.. the 'usual suspects' walking the beach..  nice morning 73*.. stopped at the lake on the drive home.. spotted this local resident Osprey at the very top of a tree near its nest...looks like he was waiting for a 'fish breakfast'

the Anhinga is back in the early mornings on her regular perch at the Lake.. sqawking away.. was it my getting too close or my 'other buddy' swimming by... a nice sunrise at the beach with a few deer feeding on the Dunes

a not so great sunrise at the beach this morning.. left the beach.. headed over to the ICW small pier to 'wet a line'.. no luck as the Sun peaked thru the low clouds later than expected.. stopped at the Lake for a few pics then headed home..by 9am we decided to take a drive down Rt 17 to Charleston SC once again.. a 2.5 hour e-z drive for us.. been there many times in the past..Charleston is just a nice place for us to spend a day .. walked the Battery and Rainbow Row.. a bit of HEAT .. actual temps up to near 100* so we made the walk short.. and of course a lil' bit of shopping that the HEAT never interferes with  :)
